Sustainability is at the core of Lunawood’s operations, from sourcing raw materials to producing eco-friendly ThermoWood®.
Their wood comes from well-managed, renewable Nordic forests, with an average transportation distance of just 240 km, ensuring a transparent supply chain. In Finland, only 75% of the annual forest growth is harvested, and for every tree cut, four new ones are planted.
Lunawood’s chemical-free thermal modification process not only enhances durability but also allows their products to store five times more CO₂ than is emitted during manufacturing. With minimal environmental impact compared to non-renewable materials, Lunawood brings the calming essence of Nordic forests to the world while championing authentic sustainability throughout the entire product life cycle.
